MERCIL

From a LINE group to 97% customer satisfaction for MEMO Clothing

MEMO Clothing took every wholesale order through a LINE group. MERCIL redesigned the process and built a web app and back office for it: orders now take minutes instead of days, one admin does the work of four, and customer satisfaction rose from 53% to 97%.

The client

The client's need

Every wholesale order went through a LINE group

How we fitted it

We watched how orders really flowed, then redesigned the process

What we built

A web app for wholesale buyers and a back office for MEMO

MEMO platform: wholesale customers use the web app and MEMO admins the back office; both run on one API with MongoDB, Redis and Firebase Authentication on Google Cloud, connected to payment and delivery providers

Measured outcome

Faster orders, happier customers, and room to grow

  • Order, pay and track in one place

Real-time stock, their tier’s ordering window and delivery tracking, instead of messages in a LINE group.

  • One admin instead of four

Orders no longer need re-entering in the delivery service, which removed a source of human error.

  • Demand they can plan for

Buying trends in real time help plan production, and the brand talks to customers on its own platform.

In the client's words

“MERCIL’s deep expertise in software development helps MEMO to provide the best digital experience to our customers.”

  • Custom software or off-the-shelf: how to decide

Feature lists make ready-made products look like the safe choice. A better test is how far your process is from the one the product was built for, and who pays for the difference.

  • What system integration really costs

Quotes for the same integration can differ tenfold between vendors. Most of the difference comes from what each quote leaves out.
