A careers website LH Bank’s recruiters run themselves

LH Bank wanted applying for a job to be simple: find a role, fill in one form, done, with no account to create. The site also had to look and feel like the bank’s own website, not a third-party job board.

The bank recruits for the wider LH Financial Group, so one site had to cover several companies, in Thai and English. And HR had to run it themselves: open and close roles, change campaign banners and review applicants without calling a developer.

As a regulated bank collecting candidates’ personal data, the new system had to ask for clear PDPA consent and pass the bank’s vendor security review before going live. It also had to leave room to connect to other HR systems later.

We started with the people on both sides of the form. Requirement sessions with the bank’s HR team became user journeys for the candidate and the HR admin, and flowcharts for every decision point: what happens when a candidate declines consent, when a role closes, when a new admin is invited.

From there we built a reusable design system in the bank’s brand and an interactive Figma prototype, so HR could click through the real flow before any code was written.

Development ran in two-week release cycles across separate staging, UAT and production environments, each with its own database, so the bank’s team tested every release in UAT before it reached candidates.

Before go-live the system went through integration testing, the bank’s user acceptance test and the bank’s security checks. We handed over with admin training, a full user manual and a six-month warranty with agreed response times.

For candidates, in Thai and English

• Campaign banners and a list of open roles, searchable and filtered by company and job category
• A page for each role: responsibilities, qualifications and who to contact
• A PDPA consent step before the form, with every item answered before the candidate can continue
• One application form: personal details, current job and salary expectations, and up to five files (CV, portfolio and supporting documents)
• No account and no password: the candidate submits and gets a confirmation on screen

For the HR team

• Dashboard: applications today, this week and in total, and the most and least applied-for roles, for any date range
• Application list: search and filter by role, company and status; new and viewed applications flagged; status updates with remarks; files previewed in the browser or downloaded; export to Excel
• Roles: posted in Thai, English or both (the site shows the other language when one is missing), with opening and closing dates, a preview before posting, and an on/off switch
• Banners: up to five campaign banners in a chosen order; a new banner stays hidden until it is placed
• Filters: the companies and job categories candidates can filter by
• Access: Super Admin and Admin roles, email invitations with a first-login password set-up, password reset by email OTP, and a strong password policy

The architecture keeps the door open: the system can connect to the bank’s other HR systems later without rebuilding the site.
